The Catalan giants ran out routine winners on Saturday evening to return to the top of the division, overtaking Atletico Madrid, who defeated Rayo Vallecano, in the process
Ivan Rakitic and Luis Suarez both found the net as Barcelona beat Real Betis 2-0 on Saturday to return to the top of La Liga.
Luis Enrique's men initially struggled to
break their rivals down in Sevilla but Rakitic opened the scoring in the 50th minute, before Suarez completed the scoring with nine minutes remaining.
Barca subsequently return to the summit, overtaking Atletico Madrid, who had beaten Rayo Vallecano earlier in the day
