BREAKING NEWS:: OBASANJO QUIT PDP

Former President of Nigeria, Olusegun Obasanjo has quit the Peoples Democratic Party; PDP.

According to report, Obasanjo who had a fall out with his party member and President of Nigeria, Goodluck Jonathan, was reported to have tore his PDP membership card in public.

Obasanjo who recently endorsed the party's opposition Presidential candidate, Muhammedu Buhari of the All Progressive Congress, was quoted by City FM to have said
“Prefer to be a stateman in Nigeria, rather than being a card carrying member of PDP.

Former President who has played a huge role in the success of PDP at the Presidential level, has been exchanging words with his protégé, President Goodluck.

In one of his attack, he said “The President is scared that if he loses the election, He might be arrested by Buhari"

But his departure which many believe is a huge blow to PDP, has been played down many times by the senior adviser to the President, Doyin Okupe. He tweeted that “The loss of OBJ is just one vote".
