Danny Welbeck came off the bench to score the winner as Arsenal beat Norwich City 1-0 at the Emirates on Saturday.
The Gunners struggled until the introduction of the former Manchester United forward, and failed to have a shot on target in the first half.
Welbeck was subsequently introduced in the
56th minute, and sent a crisp finish past John Ruddy just three minutes later, earning the hosts all three points in an atmosphere of rebellion.
A number of Gunners fans protested against the management of Arsene Wenger in both the 12th and the 78th minutes, but the disharmony in the stands could not prevent the side from taking all three points, and deepening the misery of a Norwich team in the midst of a relegation battle.
