'I told him to stop but he still kept going': Brave mum tells of horror rape ordeal to warn other 'girls to be on guard'

A MUM has told of the terrifying moment she woke up to find her neighbour raping her – while filming the sickening attack on his mobile phone.

Jessica McDonald – who has waived her right to anonymity – was completely naked when she discovered pal Glen Mills on top of her after waking up on his sofa bed.

Mills used the flash on his phone to take videos and pictures while the 22-year-old single mum was
asleep.

Traumatised Jessica said she screamed for Mills to get off and she tried to push him away but he ignored her pleas.

Today, after her attacker was jailed for six years, she has spoken out about her ordeal in a bid to help other victims.

Brave Jessica, who has a son Finlay, three, said: “What has happened has affected me massively, but I am really glad I went to the police and got justice.

“I want to warn other girls to be on guard. This kind of thing can happen to anyone. Going to the police can be scary, and I know victims might worry they will not be believed.

“The police do take attacks like these very seriously. Now Glen has been jailed I feel like I can in some way move on.”


Jessica, of Walker, Newcastle, had visited Mills, 31, at his home for a catch-up and a drink.

But after having two beverages she fell asleep and woke up naked on his sofa bed where he was attacking her.

Eventually she found the strength to get up and run back to her home next door, where she collapsed on her living room rug and broke down in tears before calling the police.
